The activation of the Battlefield 2042 beta is approaching: that the test phase takes place in September, Electronic Arts and DICE had already confirmed. As the portal PlayStation Game Size reports, it is currently only a placeholder that includes the name of the game and the planned beta. Further details are not available because the developers have not yet loaded data into the PlayStation and Xbox networks.

Therefore, it remains to be seen with which download size is expected in the Battlefield 2042 Beta Early Access. It is certain: The trial version takes place on PS4 and PS5 as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X. PC players may also play the beta for the new ego shooter. Who pre-ordered Battlefield 2042 (Buy Now 56.99 €), will receive early access to the beta and may therefore expect the virtual battlefields to be more likely to enter a few days.

Battlefield 2042: PS5 test canceled, on Xbox Liquid than on PC

EA and DICE conducted a first test of Battlefield 2042 at the weekend. However, the alpha had to be canceled on PS5.

With how much flow pre-ordering the ego shooter can try out, is unknown. The same applies to the included game modes containing Battlefield 2042 in the open beta. It is believed that the developers call more details in the next few days. Lastly, an alpha test took place in which selected players could throw a first look at BF 2042. First only on PC and Xbox: On PS5, the test had to be canceled at short notice. The full version will be released on October 22.
