Another well-known Blizzard employee leaves the developer studio: Game Designer John Septum Yang has announced his farewell in a message to the fans on Twitter. He thanked him for the ten years he was allowed to work at Blizzard Entertainment.

Yang: It was a pleasure for me

Yang writes in his short message:
After ten years, my journey at Blizzard Entertainment is coming to an end. Thanks to all employees of the teams I had to work with the honor. It was a pleasure and real privilege. I have closed lifelong friendships and found a family — I say to all of you lovingly LEEWARD.

The Game Designer began his career at Blizzard in 2011 as a test analyst and later moved to the developer team of Diablo 3, where he was involved in the draft of the classes of the Barbara, demon hunter and hex decoration. Later he added to the WoW team and, among other things, was responsible for the class and legendary design in Legion and Battle for Zeroth. His last stop at Blizzard was the Hearthstone team, but WOW fans know him from legendary items like Nehrus secret and memory of Serum.

Why Yang has decided to lose Blizzard, and whether his farewell is related to the ongoing sexism scandal at the Californian developer studio, the Game Designer lets open. Also, unclear remains where it takes him next or who will be his new employer.

We wish Yang definitely all the best for his other way and stay curious where his journey leads him.
