What is the Nintendo Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda?

80s style with improvements: The Nintendo Game & Watch is a Retro console in the style of Nintendo’s first handheld, which appeared in the 80s in many variants. The design of the new version is the most similar to the oldest models from the gold and silver series. Nintendo, however, allows some freedoms: the buttons and the control cross seem more likely to be modeled on the Game Boy, the retro console was donated a color display.

Three Zelda games and a classic from 1980: At the original Game & Watch, only a single game was firmly installed on each console, exchangeable modules did not exist yet. After all, the new edition offers something more: you get the three Zelda classics The Legend of Zelda (1987), the second part The Adventure of Link (1988) and Link’s Awakening (1993). On the old Game & Watch these games have never appeared. As a bonus, however, there is still mammary, which was actually part of the Game & Watch silver series in 1980.
