Dennis Allen is new Head coach of the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League (NFL). The previous Defense Coordinator advocates after the separation of Sean Payton to office of his longtime chief, as the franchise announced on Tuesday. This also occupies the last open coach body of the league. All (49) was already head coach of Oakland Raiders from 2021 to 2014 with a moderate balance sheet (today Las Vegas Raiders). Payton had resigned after 15 years. He had led the club to the so far single Super Bowl Triumph (2010), but was also blocked for a season because of his participation in a scandal. Whether the 58-year-old will return to the NFL stage again is open. The Saints had first missed the playoffs with nine wins and eight defeats since 2016/17.
