The former Colombian football professional Freddy Rincón is dead. The once-old captain of the national team and ex-players of Real Madrid and the SSC Naples succeeded on Wednesday in Cali in the southwest Colombia his heavy head injuries due to a traffic accident. The 55-year-old Rincón was hospitalized on Monday after a collision in critical condition and operated almost three hours. It had previously given a violent collision of a bus with a van in which he was traveling. The exact cause of the accident is unclear so far.

Rincón was known as “Colossus” at his active time.
