Thomas Doll (56), after almost two and a half years, found unemployment a new coaching job. The former BVB and HSV coach dares a new adventure in Indonesia.

Doll, at the Indonesian first division of Persija Jakarta, signed a three-year contract valid from the new season.

This told the Elfmaly Indonesian Master, who had completed the current season at the end of March in Seven with 30 points behind Meister Bali United, on his website.

“I am honored to work for one of the big teams in Indonesia,” was quoted in the press release. “Of course I want to bring Persija to a higher level. I can not wait to guide the training in Jakarta.”

Doll has been a club since his Cypriot Club Apoel Nikosia in December 2019.

Previously, the ex-national player in the Bundesliga, among other things, served Hamburg SV, Borussia Dortmund and Hannover 96.
